  • There is a lot of fuss about this beach like it is one of the most beautiful os Algarve. Is not bad but is not the best. Excessively touristic and massive and so extremely crowded. Also, you have...  more »

  • Beautiful beach with a nice sunset spot. You can even find some shade with the rocks there. If you want to get a drink a grab some food, there are 3 different restaurants. Especially the one in the back is truly nice place with some delicious seafood.
  • This beach is so beautiful and different from any beaches we have been to. It also was much easier to find parking and food and drinks were easily accessible. It is pretty big but you can find quiet spots and enjoy some alone time or with others. Make sure to explore different parts of the beach/ caves to the east of it before the tide comes in. A little gem we found away from all the other more touristy beaches.
  • Lovely beach plenty of place on the very long beach.. There is a boardwalk all the way along the beach with a few places to get a drink and food.... Also they have people offering massages along the beach too
  • Stunning beach. The rock formations surrounding this beach provide beautiful scenery and plenty of areas to look for crabs. The sand is orange and can be a little sharp underfoot as there are lots of shells on this beach - children loved looking for shells. Water is very clear and clean but extremely cold! We went in peak season so it was extremely packed with holidaymakers. There are little coves and mini beaches to discover but be careful of the rocks. Lifeguard was warning people not to climb the rocks as they are unstable. There are parasols and sunbeds for hire at various sections of the beach, plus vendors walking around selling beach blankets, jewellery, hair braids etc - didn't find them too pushy though and quite enjoyed the doughnuts. Didn't see any showers though, which would have been good. All in all, a beautiful beach and definitely worth a visit despite being busy.
  • Absolutely stunning beach with wonderful cliffs and caves. Some great photo opportunities to be had. It was busy when we visited and the water was cold, but still worth a swim to admire the beautiful views!
