  • The convent is of simple lines as used in the Franciscan order and date back to the 15th century. Since then, is a place of peace and its miradouro you can also enjoy the beautiful views.

  • Although the church is closed most of the time , take your time to visit the gardens with the entry on left side of the church courtyard. Many walls with encrusted shells and at far end, walk up the stairs for a magnificent views. It's a Romantic place

  • It could be a place to dream, as I was, it is regrettable that the space surrounding the convent is in perfect abandonment, I felt ashamed to go show my granddaughter "nothing to show" into air tourists amazed, I describe. Alleged gardens with dried hydrangeas, cages that once had several birds some boarded up and another with pigeons and a rooster, where peacocks roamed a few years ago, now had dry leaves, outer side of the convent a stove and someone the roasting meat, didn't realize that they were staff or someone who lives there, niches with images that hardly come from dirty Lake that was the charm of children by having an island with a House with ducks, now desert and dry, not to mention a viewpoint already desert, with a look of envy Since Albufeira Lagoon to the Cascais line and up to the Serra de Sintra, maybe better signage that more life to that viewpoint. What will the iron sculpture almost hidden from Paul Neruda? 500 years of history and no one cares about. ...

  • I was very well received by Mr. Carlos Ballet that in addition to having made a tour through space, with he shared and reviewed knowledge and common interests, now that was very pleasant and enriching.
