Inspirock Rating:
4.8/5 based on 500+ reviews on the web
Popular among surfers thanks to its sizeable waves, Odeceixe Beach offers a wealth of opportunities for hitting the water, relaxing on the sand, and enjoy the coastline. Located at the mouth of the Seixe River on the border between the Algarve and Alentejo regions, the beach is a wide, sandy area surrounded by rocky cliffs and bluffs. You'll find, however, that you can access it easily via ramps and stairs from the nearby parking lot. A premier Blue Flag beach in Portugal, it's equipped with public restrooms and showers. You'll find bars, cafes, and stores nearby. Choose to start, finish, or center your holiday on a trip to Odeceixe Beach by using our Aljezur itinerary planner.

  • Here flows the river Ribeira de Seixe River to the sea. Beach is nice and you can to the river or the sea side. River is not deep and at low tide you can Wade through well to the other side. There is a nice restaurant where you can eat for little. Parking can be a bit tricky. There is no parking so just along the way, but if it's busy you have to walk far to the beach. Beach with steps.
