  • Excellent place to taste some of the best wines in Algarve! Just love it! If you're looking for a wine experience in Algarve, this is probably on of the best spots.  more »
  • The tour was very interesting and we got to hear about the whole process from planting to bottling of the wines. They were very keen to allow you to see inside the tanks via a platform which was very ...  more »
  • Now it is the second time we visit Cliff ´ s Vineyard. And we must say we are again happy entertained. First sit you in the most beautiful outdoor areas with vineyards as far the eye can see, get a great explanation and description of how exactly this vineyard work. Then a short tour (the farm is not so great) and then down in the basement for a little good wine tasting. This time we are well 25-30 customers from several different countries. Finally we were 15 only from Denmark-and here we had the pleasure of ha Christina as a tour guide. We taste now on a rose white and then a red wine. And those are the good ones. Not the wild percentages, but they taste like something. From experience, we buy a few good bottles to take home to our apartment, experience says that you have to drink them in the surroundings of tasting them for the first time. Which we of course also makes. But in the back of the head is also, they can be purchased in the Menu for DKK 99 per bottle. And here directly on farms does a bottle of Eur 8, so there is nothing to save. Finally, visit this place, Cliff, there is unfortunately not, but definitely good wines. And cheap. A guided tour with tasting costs EUR 10.00 per person..

  • What a joke this place is, I have wrote long before my visit, was told there are tours hourly and they end the last tour at 4:00 PM. Showed up at 3:20 PM, was told it is not possible to do any tour for that day. There are four of us in the group, we then asked if we can paid for a tasting, the reply was that we are welcome to the tasting and it is free. I have been to tons of of winery from North America to South America, from Asia to Europe, many major ones in Italy, Spain and France. I am happy to pay, just charge me. The lady insist it is free, fine, except she then proceed to produce four glasses with single pour of each wine. WTF! I have knocked on the doors at winery across the world with owners more than happy to share their wine and knowledge, this place showed no sign of any hospitality. When we leave, she even said, it is not allowed to walk around the ground! This is not Marques de Riscal that has the breath taking architecture of Frank Ghery or Bodega Bai Gorri, or Bodega Portia, or Bodega Protos, or Bodega Ysio, or Antinori's new facility outside the Siena or Catena Zapata, cheeky decor with no hospitality and lousy wine. Save your time and money, go visit a sea cave. Or better, go the Evora or Setubal for some great wine.
  • Good value vineyard tour and tasting. Very nice wines!
  • Had a great afternoon ... The tour guide Liz was very passionate & made the tour very interesting & funny, would definitely recommend
  • Every year the wines are improving. The Reserva red wine was a pleasant surprise. Visited regularly and we will go back for sure.

  • buy no wine here. The same wine is available at the supermarkets for a minimum of 1 euro cheaper.

Where to stay in Albufeira

Renowned for its extensive beaches and rugged coastal landscape, Albufeira represents one of the nation's most popular destinations and offers a wide array of accommodations, both luxurious and more basic. Reserve a room in one of the city's upscale hotels in order to make use of pools, lounges, gardens, and amenities during your stay. Not only do they offer in-house luxuries, but generally these hotels place you within easy walking distance of the city's famed Praia dos Pescadores beach. While there aren't as many inexpensive options in town, staying at an inland bed and breakfast or a guesthouse in one of the smaller nearby towns can be both a relaxing experience and an affordable one.
