Ignored by the travel guides and not listed on road maps, it retains its tranquillity and picturesque charm. Its inhabitants are friendly and with a smile it is even possible to get invited to visit the Interior of the houses. It's the small painted village of ZALIPIE.show original
The painted village is lovely. The houses are very cute and it's really interesting to see them. However, the village is sort of in the middle of nowhere, and you need to drive around in order to admi... read more »

Colorful flowers that decorate everything: facades of houses, barns, barrels, decks, kitchens, furniture, arnie, wells, chimneys, even trees and the local church. For a few hours I went back in time, a little boy in search of the most beautiful decorations. Pictures, pics and photos everywhere. The surprise in the hospitality of the people of the village: upon reaching some kind of pro loco and common home, a nice lady led me on a tour of the works of decorum present even with my wife and my friends, I was invited to visit the House and garden. Pity that in these posts you speak only Polish, although gestualitâ, MIME and commonality between different peoples solve brilliantly the question.show original
It's a really cool little getaway to check out a quaint Polish village and take pleasure in a cherished tradition. Felicia was a visionary who used her art as a great way to bring joy and happiness to her home. Her art is being displayed and carried on to this day.
Mirosław DąbkowskiI highly recommend it.show original
Nicolas Thevenon1 h 30 car from Cracow through bleak landscapes and without charm to go see some maisonettes certainly well pretty and gaudily... not what no longer jump to the ceiling. Hostels in the region... in fact no it is there nothing... except the Madonnas that border roads... To avoid in my opinion except can be spring if nature flowers which I have doubts...show original
Cati PonsVERY NICE, IT IS WORTH THE VISIT. This town features maintain a Polish tradition of painting the houses, both inside and out, with floral prints. Once in the village main places are well-signposted. The Museum is home to the most famous artist of the people, who after his death became a museum. The House is tiny, I remember that you visit, the living room, bedroom and kitchen; the truth is that although tiny, is very beautiful and curious; It is worth.show original
