  • This hike starts off very easily, meandering beside a creek. It then starts uphill with lots of steps and uphill climbs. The last push is quite steep but its well worth it. The scenery the whole way u...  more »
  • The trail through the Valley of the White very pleasant, although at times it was very slippery. You need to be careful about pk rain. Views of Sarnia Skała on Giewont-priceless.

  • Even being on the sea, at home, I thought about the places that I would like to visit during your stay in the mountains. To them he was the second of the peaks reglowych. After Nosalu the time came for the Sarnią rock. We chose the route of the Valley. Approach to the top of the required concentration and precautions every step of the way. But at the top again, you enjoy the views. The cloud fortunately were only in the upper reaches. Giewont from this place seemed to be almost at your fingertips. But in the mountains easily subject to appearances. In the mountains generally everywhere is far away. Well, maybe with the exception of the Nosal mountain ... Here, on the Sarnia Skała also had to be careful and do not stand too close to the edge. Because of the horror we watched a teenage boy who's had calls father down below. You also have to add that at times really hard zawiewało and all it took was a moment of inattention. P.s. due to the lack of "June 2015" I chose the nearest available

  • Beautiful view! great occasion to a short workout in mountains.
  • Breathtaking views, well worth the hike.
  • Amazing viewing point onto the city, nature and neighboring mountains. Although the climb is high and slippery after a nights rain, the view and experience is worth it. You can take children if they are up for a bit of a walking challenge :) and elders as well, but keep in mind the overall climb is quite steep and challenging.
  • The best lookout point over Zakopane and the Tatra mountains. Easy half day hike.
  • Nice views, but nothing shocking.

Where to stay in Zakopane

Despite its reputation as one of Poland's most popular winter resorts, Zakopane has no shortage of affordable lodgings. Although most hotels hike their prices during the winter holidays, the town's guesthouses or self-catering apartments provide plenty of economical sleeping options. Many locals rent simply furnished rooms in private houses, providing another low-cost alternative for travelers with a limited budget. If you arrive without a reservation, look for rental signs posted outside private homes, or check with the city's main tourist office.
