Krupowki Street, Zakopane

(3.4/5 based on 1,400+ reviews on the web)
As the city's main walking street, Krupowki Street combines the vibe of a mountain town and small city. Brick and stone buildings line the cobblestone street, giving the area a rustic, welcoming feel. Browse through shops on the street level for crafts, gifts, and essentials, or sample food at a local eatery. It is the prime place to go for a hot beverage after a day on the slopes. Consider hiring a horse-drawn carriage to tour the street with a backdrop of the Tatra Mountains. • The street goes through Zakopane with hotels, cafés, restaurants and many shops, on either side. A lovely experience, where you can buy souvenirs or drop into for example Sabala for a snack or lunch. ...  more »
  • unforgettable atmosphere, plenty of little shops with convenience store for a decent price, an evening of live music in the bars

  • Very overrated. You can, of course, eat or do some shopping but is it worth it right there? Rather not. A lot of people, prices in pubs prohibitive. Definitely Work are not a must-see when visiting Zakopane.
