Krupowki Street, Zakopane

3.4
As the city's main walking street, Krupowki Street combines the vibe of a mountain town and small city. Brick and stone buildings line the cobblestone street, giving the area a rustic, welcoming feel. Browse through shops on the street level for crafts, gifts, and essentials, or sample food at a local eatery. It is the prime place to go for a hot beverage after a day on the slopes. Consider hiring a horse-drawn carriage to tour the street with a backdrop of the Tatra Mountains. • Ciągłówka 6a I 6B to your climate. Despite the many stalls, massive crowds on the street and many tourist attractions is the place on your way magic

  • It's big the corner Street, between big brands and local brands, local produce, restaurants of all kinds. I think it's a street to see, but it's the tourist of the corner thing!

  • It's such a mandatory for most people and for me an unpleasant necessity. About food, it is better not to think because everywhere is the same-dearly, anyhow ... In General, it's hard to eat well. In stores przebitka for each product. A crowd of people. Commercialism from everywhere. I think that after the gifts better head over to Gubałówke-a lot of people but at least the view.

  • Nice place to stroll around, with great choice of local restaurants and bars. Usually very crowded though, especially during holiday season.
  • Very busy high street full of souvenir shops, cafes, local restaurants/pubs and big fashion shops.
  • The must go when in Zakopane. Lots of shops and restaurants value for money.
  • Nice small fashion avenue in stylish ambiance. But as most places, overpriced
  • Nice place though usually crowded

Where to stay in Zakopane

Despite its reputation as one of Poland's most popular winter resorts, Zakopane has no shortage of affordable lodgings. Although most hotels hike their prices during the winter holidays, the town's guesthouses or self-catering apartments provide plenty of economical sleeping options. Many locals rent simply furnished rooms in private houses, providing another low-cost alternative for travelers with a limited budget. If you arrive without a reservation, look for rental signs posted outside private homes, or check with the city's main tourist office.
