Wroclaw Town Hall, Wroclaw

4.8
Each room of Wroclaw Town Hall gives you a different perspective of the building's role in the city's history. The town hall features an ornate facade with multiple spires as well as a clock with golden numbers on the east side of the building. It almost seems pieced together, as multiple additions and renovations have occured through the years. The grand hall and many of the offices are open to the public, but some of the administrative rooms are still in use and, thus, off limits. Public rooms provide information cards with detailed descriptions of the methods and materials used to build the structure. Temporary exhibits with visiting artifacts, such as a silver collection or artwork, fill a few rooms. The main rooms are free for the public; temporary exhibits ask a small fee. • The necessary point. As in any major city with tradition. Just a nice. Worth visiting in the middle.

  • How different it is from my ratuszaw. Visit with relatively little money. Is your soul, and exhibits underline its uniqueness. It should see. Free Sundays also work.

  • The City Council is an idea of the importance of Breslau, Wroclaw in the late middle ages and Renaissance. The Town Hall is built in red brick and is an example of the Gothic European Centre. Breslau belonged to the Hanseatic League and was German until the end of World War II. Of the visit to Breslau he caught my attention the great effort of the Polish by the reconstruction of the city people since this city suffered serious damage, being virtually razed to the ground before the capitulation to the Russians. Draws attention to the fact of having been the last city in surrender to the Allied forces, after the capitulation of Berlin-

  • I would recommend Poland to everyone! It’s a beautiful place, -15 doesn’t feel that bad when there are so many friendly people and lovely views! Very cheap and finding the bronze Dwarfs made walking miles seem like a 5 minute explore! Will try and be back some day.
  • Wonderful city. Had a bad experience. But loved Wroclow. Beautiful place. The 250 gnomes amazing. Loved it and would go back tomorrow. Beautiful people....
  • Beautiful town. Go to Hydropolis and Budynek stulecia. Go for a walk to old town and visit narodowe musem. Lot's of options for food and night out. :)
  • Love medieval buildings so was happy to see the combination of original and restored work in this beautiful example. Nice work that complements original features and the addition of furniture from National Museum gives something to look at in each room. I was looking a the ironwork on many doors, and there is a wonderful painting from a 17th century banquet that gives incredible detail of the period! Also have a nice enclosed courtyard with temporary exhibits of early maps.
  • It's one of the most beautiful buildings in Wrocław, atmosphere there is absolutely unique, especially because of colorful houses around.
