  • The Museum offers temporary exhibitions and permanent. Because of the limited time I was only on display a constant that takes a minimum of three-fourths of the entire Museum. The Museum halls are carefully divided into several departments, depending on the region (Silesia, Poland, Europe) and of the period, from which come exhibits. Silesian section we find above all dozens of representations of the suffering of Jesus, all saints or piety. To see and empathize with the climate of the middle ages, however, at the end of this may be tedious, so it's good that for a change in another section you can see as interesting, if not more interesting images of famous Polish painters, whose subject is not limited only to religion. There are, among others, images of Jan Matejko, Malczewski and many others. Tickets are not expensive, I think that it is worthwhile to come here and see a good art.

  • The Museum I have visited once again in the last few years. Sincerely-the more modernization, the less interesting it gets in this building. Cons: 1. Currently (February 2017) everything looks like during the great renovation-sale closed, pozastawiane barriers corridors (you have to walk without meaning around). 2. Some exhibits unsigned, the lack of any information. 3. Very poor lighting in the halls with images. Many pictures hanging in tight corridors-sometimes is not even how to stop by the exhibit. 4. Very weak marking exploring (sometimes the yellow line on the floor leading to nowhere). Pros: 1. Free entrance ticket from the Racławice panorama. Without this ticket, you have to buy a ticket for a dozen of gold (at the entrance of the family-a pity money, better pzyjść on Saturday, when the entrance is for free). 2. Free cloakroom with attentive service. 3. Hall of the tombs of the Dukes-modernized went in the right direction. 4. Beautifully overgrown building-Museum photos will be the main attraction. After seeing the Racławice panorama (strongly recommend)-National Museum is simply the zapychaczem of the time. The whole thing can go in 1 hour free. Similar museums in other cities, they take me often, half a day (do not write about the Louvre) and Wrocław fell out very poorly.

  • If you like religious art this is the place to be! For as little as £2 entry fee you get a lot. There was some Chinese new year celebrations going on in the main hall to which was very entertaining.  more »
