Japanese Garden - Szczytnicki Park, Wroclaw

Get a taste of Japan while you're in Poland at Japanese Garden - Szczytnicki Park, which made its debut in 1913 as part of the World Expo. The small garden with sculpted bushes sits in a quiet part of the city outside the center, located near the Centennial site. It has been reconstructed to look like the original garden from decades ago and features pagodas, a man-made lake, narrow bridges, and simple sculptures. The garden isn't large and is better suited for contemplation rather than walking. • Japanese garden, but also all the Szczytnicki Park is a beautiful expansive complex combining nature and well maintained large objects (actually powerful-Centennial) and garden architecture in the groundbreaking and original configuration. This is the place you need to visit.

  • The garden is beautiful and inspirierent. All those who have a soft spot for various plants, this is a must. Very nice to look at. Can I only recommend.

  • Although there is not hard I found very little information on the net and not all in agreement. From the Centre, next to the Galeria Dominikańska-tickets you can do comfortably at vending machines in the subway-I took the tram number 2 towards Biskupin stops "Hala Stulecia" (Wróblewskiego) and, with a short walk through the Centennial Hall and fountain, I arrived with ease. The price of admission to the Park is minimal and well worth the walk, although short, between lego bridges, waterfalls and manicured greenery. Although it was not flowering period nor I visited the sunset light was still a visit appreciated and I think it was worth it.
