  • The gardens and the park on the roof is beautiful, but there's not much to do and there is nothing special or exotic. Although it is suitable for reading a book (but I don't read books much)
  • The building is really something to look at. Great metal sheets with stuff from math, physics, biology, literature... Really something to stop and look. Side walls are story for themselves, as they ar...  more »

  • We stumbled upon it by chance having seen visiting the Copernicus Science Center nearby. It was not immediately find the entrance but once inside (free admission) opened an almost magical world! An amazing enchanted garden on the roof of the university library, a haven of peace, serenity and harmonious colors of nature within walking distance from the city center! Well worth a walk and also a stop on the benches! It was truly a find! @gargio76
  • A piece of monumental architecture, absolutely overwhelming. If you are visiting it in spring or summer you have to visit the rooftop gardens - they are stunning and you can admire the view of the city and the Vistula river. However it is important to notice that if you want to visit the inside of the library you have to be a registered user (it's free for students of Warsaw's University , otherwise it costs 10 PLN and you have to be over 16 years old). Sometimes they host events when you can enter for free.
  • The most inspiring library in the world. Amazing building. Very beautiful surroundings.
  • Most of the time its closed for outside visitors - to see inside part of library you need to wait until special event such as night of the museums. However it s beautiful building with open gardens on the rooftop (open during summer) and around the building.
  • I really recommend to visit rooftop garden. Awesome place!
