Warsaw University Library is known for its main facade covered with large blocks of classical texts, as well as its roof garden--one of the largest in Europe. Notice a large open book with the inscription "hinc omnia" at the entrance. The university motto means "from here--all." The front lobby area and the main section are connected by a small passage covered by a glass roof. Visit the botanical garden on the roof, filled with bridges, streams, pathways, sculptures, and a fish pond. From the deck you can get great views of the city and the river below.
