3.5/5 based on 360+ reviews on the web
The beginnings of Warsaw Municipal Zoological Garden can be traced to 18th-century menageries. Although the original zoo was destroyed in a bombing in 1939, director Jan Żabiński and his wife Antonina survived and went on to save hundreds of Jews during the Holocaust. After sustaining an injury in the Warsaw Uprising and surviving the war, Żabiński returned to running the zoo. Today the attraction hosts over 600,000 visitors a year and houses over 4,000 animals. Don't miss the exhibits featuring the elephant, hippopotamus, shark, and ape house. • The Zoo very average, runs for small animals for space for the visitors as in a large park. Rekinarium is a big mockery, one shark a few fish, larger fish shop żenada guarantees more contact with fish and impressions. The shark need to look for vision because it is at the bottom in the corner and even do not want to plywać, on the other hand it's hard to surprise looking at the dark and cramped.

  • Cool and clean Zoo with a small drawback, IE. a poorly marked the direction of exploring what causes chaos and likely miss certain attractions. Second, it shows that the enclosures are small and there is not enough room for their development. Recommend.
