  • The Royal Palace in Warsaw (Polish: Zamek Królewski w Warszawie) was the Palace of the Kings of Poland. The Palace is located in the old town of Warsaw at the end square. At the end of 13th century was on the location of the current Royal Palace a wooden fortification built. John I of Warsaw built between 1407 and 1410 a gothic castle that after 1526 served as Royal residence. The building was rebuilt several times until the early 17th century the current Baroque respect. The building has several wars ago. During the Great Northern War Swedish soldiers founded destructions, and the Palace was looted. During the second world war, the Palace was destroyed. It burned out entirely by the German bombing in september 1939. The ruins were blown up after the Warsaw Uprising in 1944. Between 1971 and 1984, the Palace was rebuilt, after which it was opened to the public.

  • The monumental, dignified. As the seat of the head of State well. Spoils his image unfortunately only this cross and rallies daily. You need a week to get on a non-commercial. This is possible

  • Quite nice from the outside, elegant from the inside and with a very pleasant garden at the back. Centrally located. Sadly tourists can only see it from afar. I advise against going there on the 10th ...  more »

  • I don't know if it's really fair to review this place, but I think it's useful for tourists anyway. This is the presidential palace - ie the place where the president of Poland works (his home is probably closer to Łazienki park, depending on who's in the job at the time) and it's well worth stopping by for photos. Why wouldn't you? There's armed guards though, so don't try to cross the chain.
  • Palac jak palac.
  • Warto zobaczyć
  • Very pretty. Immaculately clean. Lovely place.
  • Monumental and representative, during the Christmas period is very nicely lightened.
