Categories: Neighborhoods, Tourist Spots
Inspirock Rating:
1.6/5 based on 85 reviews on the web
The historical district Praga Polnoc is a hub of the local art community, overflowing with artistic studios, alternative theaters, and underground clubs. The area was an independent town prior to the late 18th century and remained relatively untouched during World War II. Visit some of the historical warehouses and factory spaces at Soho Factory, which have been turned into art galleries, designers' and stylists' boutiques, cinemas and concert venues, and food and fashion markets. Be sure to check out Fabryka Trzciny art center and the Koneser distillery, which often hosts concerts and festivals. Make Praga Polnoc a centerpiece of your Warsaw vacation itinerary, and find what else is worth visiting using our Warsaw vacation trip planner.

  • The District of Prague is a gem not to be missed, so authentic and so distinctive that deserves a nice visit thorough! The area is fairly device with little tourism, some locals don't even speak English. Get lost in its streets is like stepping into the Communist era between "Soviet" style buildings and factories and abandoned spaces transformed into local or cultural centres, such as "Fabryka Trzciny". This area will delight to lovers of alternative movements, with art galleries, graffiti, street art and alternative "style" bar Berlin. I had read several warnings about the dangers of the area, personally travelled with a friend in December and turning both day and night we didn't have any problems. It is true that it is an area far less rich (but not poor) and some areas are quite popular and very little people wilderness with buildings, which might strike some fear.
