  • Spent 5 hours there. The museum covers a broad range of topics and spans 1000 years of history; sadly, because of that, it feels overwhelming and there's a feeling that no topic is covered...  more »

  • Impressive museum, rich in recounting the different periods of Jewish history in Poland. Despite the incredible architecture, it is the well planned and clear tour of the exhibition that makes this museum a must visit in Warsaw. Requires at least 2h to visit properly and it can be confusing at times, with many details and galleries hidden in corners, so following the map given at the entrance is useful. A place worth visiting!
  • Extremely interesting museum about the Jews in Poland since their arrival in the country centuries ago. The museum is very interactive and well designed. It contains a lot of info and historical facts that you follow on the chronological order. Must visit it if you want to better understand the Polish history/society
  • I have been to several museums around the world. POLIN stands out in its expression, architecture, creative use of media to connect with the visitors. But above all in the depth and poignancy of its narrative on the Jewish people's history from post biblical times to post world war II. Each of the exhibits is a carefully designed piece on its own. The audio guides are highly recommended on the tour and connect very well with each of the exhibits.
  • A brilliant history of the Jews in Poland, presented in chronological order, with interactive multi media / multi language displays. My wife and I invested willingly over 6 hours of one Sunday learning about events such as the WWII ghetto and now understand its historical context. However, I felt that the historical explanations since 1945 were too 'thin', certainly compared to the history of medieval times. Overall though, this is an experience that everyone should have, if only to enlighten people's thinking about modern day events.
  • Very nice museum about the history of Jews in Poland, also available in English with English audio guides. The building itself is already worth a view. If you take all the history in full detail you can spent a full day here. Really worth a visit if you're interested in history and have a full day to spent.
