Create an itinerary including Palace on the Island
Go back to the time of Saxon kings at Palace on the Island, an 18th-century Baroque palace and a former royal residence that originally was erected as a bathing pavilion. The building, richly decorated with stuccos, statues, and paintings, is bordered by ponds, canals, and gardens of the city's royal baths park. Look for a painting of a silenus with bacchants in the Bacchus room. The Neoclassical rotunda decorated in yellow and white marble with figures of the Polish kings occupies the central portion of the palace. Go to the picture gallery on the other side of the rotunda, which features minor works by Rubens and Rembrandt. The palace also houses royal apartments, a king's cabinet, royal bed chambers, a cloakroom, and an officer's room. • Nice small palace with bad organization. There was some school trip in queue before us. They let pupils in in groups of few people. Nobody cares that there are other tourists and we all had to wait...

  • Amazing, spectacular, relaxing, peaceful huge and many other positive adjectives could be added here 馃槃 !!! We didn't entered the palace though because the line was extra long and would take us about 60+ minutes to enter... However, we explored and enjoyed the nature 馃尶馃崈 馃槉 . I highly recommend this place to everyone to visit!!
  • Totally worth your time! Palace on the isle is all about charm and bliss on a beautiful day. Some epic work of art and nature's heavenly quietude surrounds the place. Exquisite birds and squirrels can be easily spotted nearby. Go for it! 馃榿
  • Located in a very big and green park with beautiful flower beds and a big pond. A good place where to spend your time just walking around and enjoying the nature, gardens and architecture.
  • Only stopped by for a quick walk around the park but the beautiful sculptures and buildings really made this place a wonderful little escape from the busy streets of central Warsaw. The mansion has a little amphitheatre Futher round on the lake which would make for a beautiful performance with the sun setting directly behind the stage.
  • Those people knew where and how to build their summer residence鈥檚. Really nice park and place with this building on lake. I would also recommend to visit the botanic garden near but it鈥檚 not free the ticket is 20zl
