#1 of 19 in Parks in Warsaw
Spend some time strolling in the sun at Lazienki - Royal Residence Park. Once the hunting ground for Poland's kings, this park is the largest in the city, occupying 76 hectares (189 acres) in the central district. Start your walk at the opulent palace built for King Stanislaw August Poniatowski, who acquired the property in 1764. Next, head to the park's star attraction, an amphitheater inspired by ancient Greek and Roman architecture. The theater's stage, situated on a small island in the park's lake, provides an idyllic setting for live concerts and plays. Check the website for upcoming special events. • Were in the winter. Despite the cold many ducks that run straight under your feet. There are swans, who are willing to eat with your hands. There are even peacocks who go near and not afraid ljudnj. A lot of white, which is eaten with the hands. I advise you to take more sweets for animals. The park itself is beautiful, quiet and cosy

  • Well still in summer or autumn to visit this park. A beautiful landscaped park. The beauty of the winter hits that you see everything at once. A little imagination .... But the summer warmer somehow. But no crowds!

  • It's big, it's beautiful, but quite dull in this period. To revisit in the summer to get a notice.

  • I spent two days visiting Warsaw, and was only expecting to spend an hour here. But it was such a nice day and such a nice park, we ended up staying in the park for the whole afternoon. Nice walking paths, multi-purpose areas, beautiful scenery and seating around the lake, and an architecturally great palace in the middle. The park ended up being one of my favorite parts of Warsaw during my visit, can’t recommend enough!
  • When in Warsaw, one definitely needs to visit Łazienki Park. It’s the largest park in Warsaw and has a lot to offer. You can walk around there for hours admiring the surrounding nature and mesmerizing peacocks in the spring/summer. The palace itself looks fabulous and especially its reflection in the water when it’s still. I attached a few pictures from the wintertime because even then the park is great. It’s one of my favorite parks in the city and I recommend to anyone who wants to get away from hustle and bustle of noisy traffic and city center.
  • Very peaceful park where you can relax among nature. There are plenty of trees, big lake, and many kinds of birds including peacocks. The park allows people to jog but not cycling. However, you can bring a bicycle here but don't ride it. With big area of the park, unfortunately toilets are limited and difficult to find.
  • A beautiful and must see. You can walk the grounds and see history before your eyes. The Chopin statue is large and impressive. As you walk through the grounds you can hear Chopin's music.
  • An impressive royal park and palace complex. A perfect place to take a rest listening to Chopin's music being played live.
