  • It is the most visited of the capital and where to begin the guided tours most since at the time it was part of el Camino Real. Not only is the column but the area where it is located.

  • Made of marble chęciny, called the occasion "zygmuntówką". Column built by the promoter in the Polish Kingdom, Władysław IV Waza. In this way, decided to honor the memory of the great father, at the time when we threw on her knees Russia, and not much missed, and that Władysław IV would be the Tsar of Russia.

  • Beautiful picturesque area. King Sigismund the Swedish king who moved the capital to Warsaw is seen standing on top of the column holding a sword to protect the city. Free walking tours start here at 10:30am and usually at 2 or 3:30pm
  • Nice square with the king's heroic statue in the middle. Here you can meet the guides for free walking tours around Warsaw. Most of the tours begin from here. Also there is Warsaw castle and other old and politically important buildings..
  • Plac Zamkowy is a "gate" to the Old Town. Rebuild after WW II offers beautiful sight.
  • This monument is the true center of Warsaw, symbolizes its tortuous past and and is much loved by its inhabitants! Impossible not to see and not photograph it, is the classic meeting point for tourists and not only! @gargio76
  • One of the main attractions of Warsaw, in the center plaza of the city. Nice place, where street artists come together to perform.
