  • An impressive column towering over the castle square. Adds a central point to the square and can get a good photo from the street.
  • Sigismund's column is the heart of the Castle Square and the place at which they agree to love, friends, I after years I chose this place to get together with a friend from school years. Because long time no see uznałyśmy that just under the column of Zygmunt fun to meet and so did. Zygmunt-looked on us from on high as before many years. Time has stopped, and we meant it. If you are making an appointment for the first time on a date, select the point of Warsaw will remember and you will remember.

  • The column is very famous for, but other than that it is a symbol is not in any way interesting. OT, to pass.

  • Beautiful picturesque area. King Sigismund the Swedish king who moved the capital to Warsaw is seen standing on top of the column holding a sword to protect the city. Free walking tours start here at 10:30am and usually at 2 or 3:30pm
  • Nice square with the king's heroic statue in the middle. Here you can meet the guides for free walking tours around Warsaw. Most of the tours begin from here. Also there is Warsaw castle and other old and politically important buildings..
  • Plac Zamkowy is a "gate" to the Old Town. Rebuild after WW II offers beautiful sight.
  • This monument is the true center of Warsaw, symbolizes its tortuous past and and is much loved by its inhabitants! Impossible not to see and not photograph it, is the classic meeting point for tourists and not only! @gargio76
  • One of the main attractions of Warsaw, in the center plaza of the city. Nice place, where street artists come together to perform.
