  • Love this Carmelite Church in Heart of Warsaw. The Church of Our Lady of the Assumption and St Joseph the Bridegroom has a great early neo-classical facade. It dates from 1782 and was damaged in WWII ...  more »
  • The church stands a small piece South of Warsaw's historic old town on the Grand Boulevard of Krakowskie Przedmieście in close proximity to the Presidential Palace. The Church was built in 1681 in the Baroque style and built around 100 years later in neoclassic style. It was among the few buildings in the District of the old town, that World War II were not badly damaged. This looks like all the churches in the area extremely well preserved and maintained. The Interior is rather simple. At the magnificent appearance, we have expected more. Beautiful to look at she is also short worth a visit anyway and thus.

  • It is a large church in the main street towards the Stare Miasto. Its architecture is neoclassical, unique and easy to recognize by its bell towers resembling incense burners. The construction is original because it suffered almost no damage with the war. It has the honor of having served as a cathedral while it is rebuilding the Cathedral of San Juan.
