  • 18th-century market, rebuilt in the times of Jan Klemens Branicki, immediately was supposed to perform representational functions, and not, as in most cities. Based on the designs of the French happily intact has been preserved until today. Thanks to this lovely, small town, we can reach a surprisingly large streets climate surrounded by charming, historic, richly ornate wooden buildings. Its the middle of an interesting accent is a monument to Hetman Czarnieckiego, while the eastern part is the Baroque church of the dominant of the square. The local market is the oldest in Poland such as organising urban space by the monument. It is worth to stay, explore the House at no. 10, go to the atmospheric Restaurant/Café. Beautiful Polish town with a rich tradition and a nice present. Omińcie not visit the Jewish part and Tykocin.

  • Impressive on arriving from either party, as the streets surrounded by low buildings encroach on a large open space market, well laid out and maintained. In the Middle we admire the monument to Hetman Czarnieckiego, ruler of this Earth since its merits during the deluge. Delicious architecturally Church of St. Trinity in the vicinity of the bridge over the Narew River, and next to one of the restaurants (Alumnat) administering the regional dishes. Buildings around the square a little varied, but pleasant and quite atmospheric, and even amateur researchers difficult history of town you will find the explanation of some imperfections of urban planning. A few minutes spent here surely encourages deeper knowledge of Tykocin, as it is here still have a lot to look at, and and a few other restaurants worth a visit (e.g.. Tejsza).
