  • A cemetery special, more Park Cemetery, built in the early 900 with great avenues and ponds. People go there to walk around the place dl good weather. I didn't get a chance to visit it all but point out the impressive Soviet Memorial to the fallen of World War I. The tombs are not monumenntali and follow the Protestant tradition more than Catholic (simplicity, not ostentatiously). Interesting ones before the war, all written in German.

  • Very different a cemeteries in Denmark, otherwise we Danes, so it is normal to put artificial flowers on the graves, and turn on the lights/lantern in an almost exaggerated extent so far. The cemetery is huge, so that can easily be used for a couple of hours in just to see the most sensational, such as the falling soldiers, Church, fountains, etc. Take that out, if you don't have anything else to spend the day on, and as the US has been in Poland many times and it's just about time to get the set

  • never seen such a large cemetery, a bit scary so huge but so beautiful out of what we saw from the bus. Europe's largest cemetery reminded us of the war.
