  • Arriving in Poprad we decided to stay at the hotel next to the railway station but it would have been better to have found a hotel in Stary Smokovec. The train from Poprad only takes 30 min and you ar...  read more »
  • Highest mountains in Poland (and Slovakia). Great landscapes and trails (almost) for everyone. Best in semptember!
  • From the top station on the cable hinatayama views in the distance. In the first half, lunlun course. Grabbing the kesari and several steep zig-zag in the second half to the top. Kesari is one-way, gloves are required. Rain is a dangerous course. View 360-degree vision and many glacial lakes. You can see far away people climbing the mountain to the North. Went to the local signs, return and also found 2 hours, 3 hours and 40 minutes, return, took 3 hours 20 minutes. British newspaper the guardian as one of 10 mountain in the world, posted on hinatayama and takes three hours. Go and Japan climbing Mountain Figure 3 hours, the return is 2 hours 30 minutes of feeling. Climbing course almost no shade. No toilet.

  • Morskie Oko is worth visiting both in summer and in winter. If you go further and reach Czarny Staw lake 500 m above, you get a fabulous view to Oko and its surroundings! Make sure you come early and leave before sunset — as always it lacks car park space and you can get cold on your way back, as it takes 2 hours to get from park entrance to lake by foot.
  • A beautiful park filled with spectacular views! If you visit Morskie Oko be sure to hike the trail up there! The horses overheat by the time the reach the top. I witnessed it myself along with a large number of other people. It's disturbing and the one way we can stop it is by not using this service! Take a hike for a few hours, it's worth it and the exercise is great!
  • Przykro mowic, ale obsluga wsz pyblicznych obiektow zatrzymala sie na roku 1989... 2 * za widoki. Drogo, a w zamian niewiele. Wybieram Alpy. A szkoda...
  • Been there twice. First time multi day hiking. Really nice sleeping at the shelter at night. Next time shorter route. Back in the same day. Some of the shelter have good food.
  • Beautiful hike and view in a really nice park. The only minus star is that at the time we visited half of the pathway was frozen making it difficult to walk on at times as it was quite slippery
