  • The first time I was here in 1995. Then it was a place of wild, neglected, pozarastane and dangerous. About the ruins I remembered you plan a family trip to Rabsztyna. Visit the 2016 year was a shock. Barely a place I met. Beautifully restored and protected. Work carried out allowed to discover places that in 1995 year were inaccessible and invisible. You can see the enormity of the work, which has been inserted in this place. In terms of tourist perfectly prepared. Is parking, secure approach marked out on the wooded hillside (reserve), the magic of the place, which has not yet been discovered by tourists. Capstone are wonderful views from the Castle Tower. Castle tours for a fee. With comparison of the current state of this place with the situation with 1995 year I believe that fully due.

  • Smoleniu castle-ruins of a castle on the Jura Krakowsko-częstochowska, built in the system. The Eagles ' nests, in the village of Smolen in zawiercie County, Silesian Voivodeship, in. The castle was built in the Gothic style in the middle of the 14th century, most likely by Otto of the Polish automobile industry of tęczyński and replaced an existing may be here before a wooden 2-4. The first castle consisted of outer walls surrounding the rock platform, a residential building in the eastern part and cylindrical tower (imposing) in diameter. 7.5 m Input to the imposing was at a height of several metres (today's entrance at ground level was founded much later). Otto of the Polish automobile industry and his wife Jadwiga of melsztyn after 1350, built to the East of the upper Castle castle bottom consisting of defensive stone wall with a thickness of up to 2 meters on the Pentagon plan. On the grounds of the castle of the lower one could enter on horseback through the preserved till today the Gothic ostrołukową gateway, which provides visible cavity to drain power. Perhaps in this part of the castle was strengthening the defence tower. In the South-Eastern part of the courtyard of the rock walls suddenly collapse several times, which points to the likely existence of a watchtower here, founded on similar to a rectangle. In the courtyard of the castle is a well, which according to tradition, forge had prisoners of Viktor, and its depth was to be 200 m (other sources say 100 m-so do not really know, these are the only agonizing, the well is now buried to a depth of 26 m. Probably Elizabeth Granowska or her son Jan Pilecki after 1450, West of the upper Castle built the western portion of the lower Castle, connected to the upper castle wall which runs after the rock. The entrance to the courtyard ran on the South side. In this part of the preserved traces of a residential building with ostrołukowymi and the remains of the gates. Retrieved From Wikipedia.
