  • I had the opportunity to be on the Castle twice. The first time a few years ago, when the ruins were actually forgotten ruins. Nothing interesting, the ruins as the ruins. The second time I was recently, immediately after restored from, when you can visit the Castle at no charge. Positive experience and passing through my expectations. The Castle, or rather what it has been beautifully renovated, secured, prepared for visitors, views from the Tower on all around. It is worth to diverge from the way these tens of meters and approaches from the parking lot walking uphill to the ruins.

  • It should be the point in your eagle nest trip for completeness, but if you have no time you can skip it. Too high to climb, not so much to see.
  • Recently secured the castle ruin Pilcza village Smoleń captivates. Visiting it is worth noting that, in order to visit the castle in full you need to go twice. You can start from the main gate and the western part of the lower castle with its impressive well (entrance fee, adults £ 7). This part of the Castle impressive looks set on steep ostańcu Castle. Difference in altitude a good but access to the upper Castle comfortable (at the end of the wooden stairs is worth to watch out for wyślizgane limestone degrees). Necessarily worth it to enter the tower and admire the Jurassic landscapes. To the East of the lower Castle leads a separate entrance, free of charge. Also from here impressive it looks like a castle. Around the castle of the comfortable path and describing its history. Free parking and a picnic area. A round of applause for successful work.
