  • Never share your opinions on the Internet, because everyone has a different approach to aesthetics and art in General. But this time I will share my feelings after the exhibition of Frida Kahlo. The exhibition was heavily nagłąśniana as a great artistic event in Poland. I think that many fans of Mexican artist pognało to know to take ambitious participated in this event. With his wife bought two tickets on the Internet, we got in the car and to get to know. Sorry, but the exhibition is not an event. Or the monumental Castle built for the last emperor of Germany is a professional exhibition space? I'd guess this discussed. I was in the castle for the first time. From the outside it does impressive experience, but this is not an incentive in Warsaw, with bright and spacious meeting rooms. Exhibition of Kahlo is tight and klaustofobiczna. The level of exhibition. The worst part of it all is light. Primitive halogen lamps. Display is dark and overexposed, and painting live and exotic, the worst is the corridor into which is placed the information about the artist. Simply it is dark. The main text is placed at the front door, so the person who reads interfere with either or entering outbound osby. The topography of the exhibition, labiryryntowa,, visitors ask, .... is there anything else to visit, and in the end, it is high time we do selfies with Frida. Instead of watching the image of man must first watch mnej else or more interesting, faces, fans of Mexican painting. Well, if in the end the same images of Frida? Before I went on this exhibition I have read: ' Głos Wielkopolski,, is expected to be 30 images! really? But the 70 photos over and over ... and long images of other Mexican artists. Who is this exhibition? Organiser informs that for the exhibition you have to book about 2 hours. Reading almost all the information plus the time spent on contemplating the works max time. /unless wliczamy time standing to the locker room about 20 minutes and another 20 minutes after clothing. .../ok, what does for art, after all, it's only common errors. All somewhere compensates for the portrait of Frida MCMXLI. It is a pity that so poorly prominence. Exudes its perfection almost like a Mona Lisa in the Louvre. But this at least is hanging itself, cutting off from the rest of the exposure. Self-portrait with monkeys, too, could be more pulled from the correct serial exposure on the wall. After all, the art exhibition has something of a theater, the Viewer could be faced with this painting in a more intimate way, and anyway, just is nothing. No idea! At the end of this totally down-to-Earth note. How much it cost in the end such intellectual duty to see this event. How much does it cost selfies with Frida. From Warsaw to Poznan: petrol tank/600 km/approx. 250 zł, charged a section of 100/fantastic/some lunch for two $50 tickets, times 2 = 60 $, parking $15, after the show some sort of coffee, cheesecake £ 30 ... no necessarily a gadget, magnesik and pencil/s mutny black without color/20 zł. Together. 525 $!! So much free selfies with Frida. Best Regards Chris

Where to stay in Poznan

Poznan draws huge business crowds during its international trade fairs, which cause a drastic increase in hotel prices. Business travelers cram the centrally located hotels during the week, so weekends remain the best time for sightseeing visits on a limited budget. Unless you have to stay in the city center, consider one of the outlying neighborhoods' hostels, which come in all shapes and sizes. Cozy guesthouses offer another affordable option, providing simply furnished rooms with free Wi-Fi, cable TV, and private parking.
