  • When it comes to seeing of churches I must admit that I am not too a big fan of these (questionable for me). And by going to the bottom of the inside of this building loves me not long ago I saw a place doing so great. We recommend to all, even if so how do I go in such places only because the guide so decided, trust me this time, you will not regret. I can recommend for couples, believe me, that after the visit more seriously starting to wonder over the wedding;)

  • We don't want to replace the paper reviews some excellent guide "certainly" out there, but we would like to express some considerations on this type of "chiesoni". There are many, in Poland and elsewhere. Often, as in this one, built by Italian architects. Were the Reformation, religious orders like the Jesuits for this church, to build these buildings, with one basic pattern always or almost always identical. For this they all look the same. In fact the churches here in Poland were built to "educate" and mostly counter the advance of Lutheranism triumphantly. Here in Poland seems to have succeeded. Are filled with sculptures, paintings, pictures, frescoes with Saints, santoni and santini, virgins etc etc who eventually kill "the good God", or the person to whom the end should be reserved for worship and idolatry in churches. This is because the Poles are a people of the idolaters, that they "killed" God (Nietzschean sense of course!) and love all these statuettes, plates and tablets "miraculous" papi Woityla, a wonderful bust in many different ways, kneeling and taking hundreds of times the sign of the cross. To verify this, we offer to "vision" pictures we had in this church at people waiting to confess. A real cloud. In Italy if the dream! PS Certainly religion has offered the poles a preservation of the language and of political unity: they were without a State for 125 years until 1920 and then submitted, first by Hitler (1939) and then by the Soviets (after 1945).

Where to stay in Poznan

Poznan draws huge business crowds during its international trade fairs, which cause a drastic increase in hotel prices. Business travelers cram the centrally located hotels during the week, so weekends remain the best time for sightseeing visits on a limited budget. Unless you have to stay in the city center, consider one of the outlying neighborhoods' hostels, which come in all shapes and sizes. Cozy guesthouses offer another affordable option, providing simply furnished rooms with free Wi-Fi, cable TV, and private parking.
