Truth be told I do not even know that in Poznan is the Museum of Literature, I found them by accident while walking from the market at the Castle of Přemysl. Museum of the beloved writer I could not visit! It was founded in 1978 with the Foundation collector, enthusiast-Ignacy Mosia. Its collections were place in a beautiful building from the 16th century, which was owned by the Builder of the Poznań City Hall-John Baptysty Quadro. The Museum is renovated and preserved the Interior climate of the era Sienkiewicz and spirit of his novels, and at the same time has gained technical improvements of the 21st century and its capabilities. On touch screens we can find what interests us; Read about or listen to. The rooms are very convenient console with buttons, described what the selection belongs to us: If we hear about hanging picture (highlights that there was no doubt about it), the story of the family, whether of the donor. Of course, I'm from a generation that Sienkiewicz read voraciously-I don't know how many times I read the perfect romance with a happy ending or "Flood", but also short stories (that nota bene I received on the occasion and Holy Communion-well, if today kids get such gifts?) so all there me wzruszało and enjoyed, such as. tiny sculpture Janka Muzykanta. It's a great Museum-don't miss it in a wide range of attractions.

Museum introduction to micro's life (such as his global travels) with his major works (such as the anti-Russian as the main theme of the fire and sword series, as well as to anti-German as the main theme of the Crusader Knight), you can see the plaster before his death mask and the Nobel Prize medals.

Where to stay in Poznan

Poznan draws huge business crowds during its international trade fairs, which cause a drastic increase in hotel prices. Business travelers cram the centrally located hotels during the week, so weekends remain the best time for sightseeing visits on a limited budget. Unless you have to stay in the city center, consider one of the outlying neighborhoods' hostels, which come in all shapes and sizes. Cozy guesthouses offer another affordable option, providing simply furnished rooms with free Wi-Fi, cable TV, and private parking.
