  • The Town Hall (Ratusz) is the tallest building in the square. Built during the Renaissance, it boasts a 61 m high tower. The current building replaced the original gothic from the 13TH century, which was burnt completely to the beginning of the 16TH century, the tower is a later addition (1780), as the previous Tower collapsed. Within the city is the Museum of history of Poznań. I recommend being at 12:00 in the morning in front of the building as a musician plays a trumpet from a place at the top and opens the door that there is the Town Hall clock and the figures of two goats go to bump their heads.
