Where to stay in Poznan

Poznan draws huge business crowds during its international trade fairs, which cause a drastic increase in hotel prices. Business travelers cram the centrally located hotels during the week, so weekends remain the best time for sightseeing visits on a limited budget. Unless you have to stay in the city center, consider one of the outlying neighborhoods' hostels, which come in all shapes and sizes. Cozy guesthouses offer another affordable option, providing simply furnished rooms with free Wi-Fi, cable TV, and private parking.

  • Really beautiful church. They have free concerts on Saturdays. There's an area behind the church with benches and trees which is really nice.
  • This church is very well preserved. The architecture resembles that one typical of Italian Christian Churches. I suggest to visit it while in Poznań.
  • One of the biggest, the grandest and the most beautiful churches in Poznań. 💒 Well worth the visit. I took a friend of mine to see it and stay for the afternoon mass on 27th December. He is not catholic but he did enjoy it. The mass was a Celebratory of The Great Poland Uprising and the magnificent organ were used, the orchestra played and at the end an opera singer sang 2 Carols.😍 She was outstanding. It was very special experience. I heared that there are regular organ concerts during the year. Check it out.☺
  • A cathedral anyone can visit and enjoy simply for the stylized beauty. It kind of reminds me of a cave - a very fancy cave, heavy with rituals. There is a catacombs below too, open during specific hours - definitely worth a look.
  • Amazing place. Every Saturday at 12:15 there is a organ concert
