  • Walked round the cathedral which was originally first one built in Poland. A visit to the crypt is a must as it shows potentially the baptismal font where reputably Mieszko 1 the first ruler of was ba...  more »

  • Architecturally and historically very interesting, and with a magnificent organ to boot. Unfortunately, the place is not well-lit, and it is often hard to see the content of the Nave and the chapels around the Ambulatory. Most egregious is the 5zł charge to switch on the lights in the Golden Chapel behind the Chancel (although my ire is somewhat tempered by the fact that I know this goes towards upkeep).
  • Beautiful church. It's worth visiting and taking your time strolling through the amazing arches.
  • Amazing atmosphere and architecture. Recommended for families; the church is big so toddlers don't get bored during Mass.
  • Very nice example of Polish Gothic architecture.
  • Definitely the most beautiful temple in Poznań! I recommend the visit.
