  • What can I say. A terrible story. This place brings many emotions. Our English speaking guide was exceptionally good in telling this horror story. Most informative and as sad as the background to the place is, an experience not to be missed. A very moving trip to both the sites.
  • Firstly this was an amazing informative visit highly recommended! However, its really heavy on the heart and very emotional to be in the place where such horrible and unthinkable acts were committed! You can only begin by the slightest of margins to imagine the scale and gravity of what happened. Rest in peace to those that lost their lives here, and to all those that were imprisoned here may we never forget your suffering
  • Really glad I got to witness this place for myself and get the perspective that it brings. But I was staggered by how much they seem to be trying to capitalise on it, you even have to pay to use the toilets! Our tour guide was very passionate and answered all questions very well, but it did feel a little rushed and because it was so busy it was hard to keep up and then the headphones would lose signal and you couldn't hear everything that was being said.
  • This is such an emotional memorial site of where horrific acts of humans against other humans took place not so long ago. The scale of the place is larger than I had ever thought after seeing it reported from documentaries and old news clips. The guides were brilliant and what I learnt from my visit was incredible. I hadn’t known that this was one of many such death camps through all of Europe, just the ultimate and largest of all- custom planned and built. It’s so big it’s like a town in itself. This place is so moving that a visit to it is a pilgrimage to all those who were killed at this terrible time of european history.
  • What an amazing, enlightening and sobering experience. These two locations are a sad look in to our world's darkest historical moments. The torture and extermination of so many innocent human beings just for their beliefs. These two historic places are a standing reminder of these innocent souls, their sufferings and what they experienced at the hands of their capturers. A guided tour of Auschwitz and Birkenau concentration camps is highly educational and sobering. Both camps are in excellent condition, unlike others in Europe. I highly recommend visiting these places of horrible atrocities, to truly comprehend and understand the magnitude of what occuted here and to pay respects to all those lost. We must face and learn from our past as not to repeat them. The staff are very friendly, helpful and informative. There are restrooms and plenty of parking. From the museum to everything to see while walking around the camps, these locations offer much to see and learn. You will truly walk away a changed person. One word of advice, please show respect when visiting. These places are where many people suffered horribly and lost their lives at the hands of a cruel tyrant. I highly recommend the visit if you are anywhere in Poland, definitely make the trip if you're in Krakow.
