Castle
Niedzica Castle also known as Dunajec Castle, is located in the southernmost part of Poland in Niedzica (Nowy Targ County in Lesser Poland). It was erected between the years 1320 and 1326 by Kokos of Brezovica on the site of an ancient stronghold surrounded by earthen walls in the Pieniny mountains. The Niedzica Castle stands at an altitude of 566 m, on a hill 300 m upstream from the Dunajec River mouth, measured from the center of the dam on Lake Czorsztyn. The outline of Niedzica Castle can best be viewed from the ruins of Czorsztyn Castle on the other side of the lake. It is known as one of the most picturesque castles in the country and adorns the covers of many books.

  • The castle is located on a hill above the Lake. The Interior of the castle can be visited. The beautiful panorama of the Castle extends from a nearby dam. In the season after the Czorsztyn Lake runs the ship, where you can sail to the other side of the Czorsztyn.

  • A quick winter getaway to the castle of let me down. Impressive from the outside and has interesting interiors both Virgin and restored. In winter, there is empty. In the summer you can boat. And no option is accommodation at the Castle.

  • Fantastic experience. I was in the Castle three times during his life, and each time I was delighted. Beautiful views, perfectly preserved Interior. The only minus is the fact that a little crowded in there, but it only confirms the uniqueness and charm of the Castle, I recommend everyone:)

  • Really nice place to visit. It was a great experience, and I think that this was the first castle I have ever been in that was so open to the public interaction. The castle seems to not be old, but be a vivid young representation of what was there before. It's a magical experience, and I might even compare it to going to Medival Times as a kid!
  • Special atmosphere, great place.

  • Beautiful castle, restored, you might want to see. Note the parking very expensive and small (though parking tells the whole day, although it is not known what to do all day), and the whole city with the prohibition of parking. Business is business.

  • The castle of very nice and good, but not worth the price definitely need to this attraction pay. Parking on a good day it costs 10 € = rip off. Concessionary ticket prices do not differ almost from the normal ticket price. In the shadows should be the Guide. In General, the castle of cute but not worth the price.
