Muzeum Zamkowe w Malborku
One of the largest castles in the world by surface area, Muzeum Zamkowe w Malborku was once home to an order of Teutonic Knights and today ranks as a World Heritage Site and national historical monument. After being nearly demolished in a battle during World War II, the castle has been completely restored. Besides the large number of knights that used the castle as a home base, Prussian kings from the 15th century also resided here until the 18th century. Wear walking shoes to tour the grounds comfortably. Consider combining your visit with a tour of the town, which offers historical sites from the same period. Came from Gdansk by train for the day. Easy to get to and about a 20 minute walk from the train station . The audio guide was excellent. The interior and exterior stunning.

Nice place to visit, easy to access by train. It takes around 45 min from central station. The castle is interesting, it is worth to see parts A and B, but the middle Castle is not worth it. I would recommend to plan you trip back, because trains are not often, so if you have already seen parts A and B then plan your trip back. There are affordable restaurants in the complex (for Swedish standards), the food is tasty and varied

Still can recommend a visit there it's impressive view but you can see it needs improvement to get back in its old glory. Still even in the pandemic a recommended visit around the castle. It's closed for inside walk.

Great place to visit. So much history. Beautiful architecture. We had the audio tour which was so much better. We got through it in 2.5hrs with our girls aged 10yr and 8yrs. It does require lots of walking.

Nice place with spirit of ancient, medieval times. Our guide, Helena, made this trip joyful and very interesting. I'm impressed by technologies that were used in builduling and renovating the Castle.
