Piotrkowska Street, Lodz

Categories: Landmarks, Tourist Spots
Inspirock Rating:
4.2/5 based on 700 reviews on the web
One of the longest commercial roads in Europe, Piotrkowska Street sits where the cultural life of Łódz takes place. The street runs between two squares with names paying homage to Polish independence: Independence Square and Liberty Square. The street is also known as "Łódź Walk of Fame," for the stars commemorating famous Poles in the sidewalk, much like the Hollywood Stars in the U.S. Monuments and murals line the street, introducing you to some of Poland's notable personalities, such as Julian Tuwim. These appear around historical buildings that house some of the city's political, cultural, and commercial sites. • Is the most beautiful Street in Poland. Especially you can see its beauty in the time of the Festival of light where part of the beautiful buildings is highlighted and shimmers with different colors. Be sure to see it. Every day very nicely. Recommend.
