  • Tickets are extremely cheap, if you're under 26 you will visit the exhibitions for 1 PLN! And I guarantee it's worth a lot more - fine international and Polish artists are displayed there and it's def...  more »
  • I recommend a visit to the Museum, but be sure to book more time. Every manifestation of modern art takes time on interpretation, consider. Nothing here is not obvious, beyond the lines. Very helpful are narratives to individual elements of the exposure. Worth it!

  • The place already is superbly restored... the visits are done with a sense of intelligent movement (bravo architect!) as for the expo (1 temporary and 1 permanent) I found them very consistent. Contemporary Art don't like not at all, of course: in these cases: go to the Museum of the city!

  • Oldest Museum of Modern Art in the world after NYC's MoMA. Definitely worth visiting.
  • What a treat this place was..have been to Łódź quite a few times, but never managed to drop by, and after coming today I wish I had!! Great permanent collection, nice mix of Central European pieces.. The temporary collection (Jan Mancuska) was also excellent. Free admission on Thursdays, but worth it every day of the week! Only minor nudge is the overzealous 'security' that seems to spy / prey on you wherever you go.. Also note: you are not allowed to 'hold' your jacket in your hands so either keep wearing it or leave it with the cloakroom to avoid a confrontation!
  • Nice place, four floors of art space. Art is art but the museum is clean and nice. It was free on my visit which was nice. The security on each floor follows you around a bit too much, but suppose would be useful on busy days and if some unruly people came in :-)
  • An extremely extensive permanent exhibition, presenting the modern art section, compulsory on a map. Temporary exhibitions also at a very high level, and presenting to the artists is to know. Only support too intruzywna, that tracks every step.
