  • This is now used as a Museum of the city of Lodz, built at the time of the Jewish tekstiilitehtailija Izrael Poznanskin into a vast cotton mills. Although it is a little nukkavierussa condition, give a picture of the old glory. Fun in itself, the adjacent area is the last of the factory polished Manufaktura tiles, so it is believed that the Palace is owned by the city of Lodz, the financial possibilities which have been much more limited. The Museum just for something other than the bounds of the Kings, this affects human and much more engrossing. With everything from a bygone era artefacts potasta on the phone, writing machines, pianos, sustain, gramophones, sports equipment, and who knows what. A special highlight at the far end of the Arthur Rubinstein Memorial rooms, with all the pieces, it is, after all, in the case of him, and in the "my page". The Palace of the great, the only part of the Museum or tehtailijalla had a huge spaces, and gardens on the edge of their area, the factory.

  • We have naively thought it as a museum dedicated to the city of Lodz. In fact, it's the - certainly impressive - home of a wealthy Jewish industrialist. And it's also a museum dedicated to other Jewish figures like Tanzman composer and pianist Rubinstein. At the entrance there are also an expo in Polish about Polish Jews during the 2nd World War.

  • The beautiful façade bunku, nice interior. Particularly captivated me stucco ceilings. The ticket prices are moderate. Exhibitions permanent lack a little freshness. Good idea paying several rooms known łodzianiom, however, could use a little bit of multimedia solutions to more of interest to young people. Ladies patrol exhibitions are discreet and visitors do not interfere with them. Managers should do something with toilets.

Where to stay in Lodz

Lodz offers fewer inexpensive hostel options than most other Polish towns, but given the city's good selection of mid-range hotels, most visitors can easily find comfortable lodgings suited to their budget and needs. The finest hotels cluster in the city center, where comfort and proximity to major attractions come at a relatively high cost. That said, many centrally located establishments offer steep discounts on weekends, when you can choose a spacious hotel room or well-appointed apartment at a fraction of the price charged during the week.
