  • Toys Museum imagine this: spacious rooms, easily accessible exhibits, well described, corners where children can have fun, if not original, then their replicas, you may with the participation of trainers who arrange play or game. This means, of course, the institution with the relevant conditions and budget, but that works with gusto. The Museum in Krynica is intimate, has several small rooms, exhibits are neatly inserted into even the nicely composed showcases, but that space is not enough, so they are tightly packed and only some can be described. As my predecessors mentioned, these objective conditions are such that the addressees of the exhibition are rather for adults than children. Younger visitors are not really patience stare through the glass props for some foreign, hardly intelligible world. Nothing here not moving (even the queue, then when I came here, it was fixed, though similarly formerly she), there is no media, sounds, etc. For adults it is a nostalgic return to the past. This concept, a story about a former childhood, not just to play, is to develop in a separate room, arranged on a class. I admit, that's pretty faithfully reproduces these classes, which I remember from my school, as they were in the second half of the fifties in the people's Republic of Poland. Care was taken to up to portraits of party leaders hanging over an array. Toys are not only Polish, there is a lot of Czech and German, which I do not, however, strikes, in the end, Krynica is a city, where different cultures mix, and, moreover, the toys know no bounds. The same is true in the Toy Museum in Karpacz. Exhibited items come from different periods, but these are old gadgets later, for example. the first (and so recent ...) computers, Atari or ZX Spectrum, logo sets, etc. – the much attention. Well, if the possibility of housing the Museum does not change, it has opportunities to develop and conduct a more active business. In the current shape gives and so much satisfaction to the visitors, because nostalgia is included in the price.

  • Price high compared with attractions to watch through the glass. A tiny Museum. Also the amount of toys with the small Polish ... I would have expected more on Polish toys than those from the West that in Poland were never available in the 80 or 90 ... The only attraction for children is the model of the queue with an overground train. The rest do not raised the interest of kids.

  • The largest collection of toys from all over the world. Great place for families with small children and school trips. Recommend
