  • Thought provoking and thoughtful memorial to those who suffered in the ghetto, the Pharmacy is next to it and Schindler's factory close by, as is a remnant of the ghetto wall....
  • The square is worth to be visited with someone to know the historical facts about her. I went with a Free Walking Tour and I thought it was super worth it because of the explanation you gave Guide. Was it that the Jews from the Kraków ghetto were waiting for the train to go to the camps, without knowing where they were going, they carried their belongings at the request of the German soldiers. Most took the Chair to wait for the train, which were left in the square along with the rest of your stuff with the promise that the Nazis would send them later. The sculptures of chairs that are today in the square represent this moment in history, and they're all pointing in the direction of where they left the trains.
