  • I needed to pack a picnic lunch for a tour so I came to this market, Originally, this was in the next town over from Krakow, but the towns grew together. They have a bunch of dry goods here, from shoe...  more »
  • Market city, located on the north side of the barbacan. Flowers, clothing and anything from sweets, meat, vegetables and cheese. That surprised me was the wifi!

  • I remember at the beginning of the seventies kat Kleparz. As a child, nasiąkłam atmosphere from actual purchases that my grandmother and mother were doing on Kleparzu or on the square. Brodowicza (where was of dubious beauty Church). At a time when in stores was only vinegar or erzace real food at my house eat normally. Food not quite legal from "baby village" or just the market. Now, when in the stores (markets) is all again real food can be purchased at Kleparzu. Fresh vegetables and fruits from verified suppliers, Italian niche products manufacturers, zawojskie trout and sturgeons, eels and ropes with Joints, sophisticated organic dairy products, fresh flowers, cereals, nuts, olives. But just as important is the atmosphere, which is not uświadczycie in air-conditioned galleries ...

  • Great place for a lot of your daily shopping. Many different shops and stands selling all kinds of foods from meats to veggies. Lots of local farmers sell their products. The place is even greater during spring when all the vegetables are out. Lots of polish shops with meat products, sausages, hams and all that stuff .... (am vegetarian so .... :). If you want fresh it's the place to be.
  • One of places you can find the finest and freshest produces. One of my favorite places in krakow.
  • One of the largest marketsquares. You can find here mostly food but nearby are also Turkish and Arabic shop. Fresh fruits, mushrooms, vegetables and also local meat - even from boar or deer. Nice spot to resupply.
  • Still a great place to pick up some locally produced food from farmers. Good selection of fruit and vegetables. Cheaper and more fun than any supermarket.
  • Good range of vegetable s but some cheated me for very high prices because I am a foreigner

Where to stay in Krakow

Krakow ranks among one of Europe's increasingly popular tourist destinations, which is reflected in the rising costs of comfortable lodgings. The best hotels are concentrated in and around the historical old town, where five-star luxury comes at a very steep price. Old town hotels place you just steps from fine shops and restaurants, as well as the city's main museums and galleries. However, if your trip involves a tight budget, avoid the central district and check out mid-range hotels and economical hostels in one of the outlying neighborhoods.
