  • Quite a little gem in Krakow. It was completely empty, but it really gives a good insight into Polish Lifestyles outside of the cities and in the past 200 years. I think more people should check it out. They should include more things in English so they can attract foreigners into the museum, that's my only constructive criticism :)
  • One of the best museums to visit, especially for foreigners. You can see here a bit of Polish tradition without leaving Cracow. Old fashion traditional styled rooms, traditional clothes and many more + some art. Nicely organized and designed with good idea. Worth visiting. Sometimes also for free. You can see paintings like in Zalipie there and many more.
  • Very interesring to see how were people living in the past. You can walk in rooms of your grandparents.
  • Classes for Toddlers and babies less than 1 year!! Very nice and warm
  • Very cool museum on polish culture and art. Be warned the upper exhibits are only in Polish. Still a unique museum that will give you a sense of how the culture has developed over time. Very cheap to enter as well (~€2).

Where to stay in Krakow

Krakow ranks among one of Europe's increasingly popular tourist destinations, which is reflected in the rising costs of comfortable lodgings. The best hotels are concentrated in and around the historical old town, where five-star luxury comes at a very steep price. Old town hotels place you just steps from fine shops and restaurants, as well as the city's main museums and galleries. However, if your trip involves a tight budget, avoid the central district and check out mid-range hotels and economical hostels in one of the outlying neighborhoods.
