  • A very strange experience. It's impressive in the sense that it's underground, and a fairly large archaeological dig you can walk around. But the large majority of the displays are not very interesting. There is too much multimedia, and it was hard to understand, even the English versions. I felt lost as to what it was about. It seemed mostly to be some logs and stones to me, I think it could have been presented in a more interesting and relevant way. The staff, although friendly, didn't seem to speak any English and patrol the facility like it is a security camp. Heaven help you if you go the wrong way! The ticket purchase process was strange, you have to go to the other side of the building to buy tickets. I had to wait for ages as the lady had disappeared from the counter. The was a lovely man at the entrance who was very friendly and helpful. Also the young girl selling the wooden boxes at the end of the tour, was also very friendly. I can't say I recommend, unless you are really into archaeology.
  • It’s an interesting museum with a lot of stuff from Kraków from a long time ago, even roads from back then. I was with a tour guide from GetYourGuide for 2 hours. It was a long tour and I recommend you just go in en look for yourself. It saves time and you can read a lot there about the stuff
  • I thoroughly enjoyed this museum! I wish I had visited sooner. This is a great way of exploring this historical city's past and culture! I had a great time!
  • A lot of new technology used, but when it comes to content it's presented in a rather boring way. A lot of dry historical facts which can be found in any book, which is completely unnecessary here. Also, the security service not too friendly. The archeological buildings were actually interesting and could be exposed better.
  • Great visuals and lots of interaction. Personally I missed the overal story arch. And I think it is better with children/in Polish.
