  • In itself nothing extraordinary. But a nice place for a stroll on a sunny day. Offers great views of the city and the surrounding areas.  more »
  • Kopiec is in the middle of The Wolski Forest. Close to ZOO, about 30 minutes on foot. During sunny day you can see Tatra Mountains from the top of the kopiec. Amazing view.  more »

  • Went there to watch the sun set, very romantic and good view, the park around is also worth a walk
  • Amazing panorama on the whole Krakow and the Krakow Airport. Good spot for watching the planes land and take off! Personally, I like this hill better than the Kosciuszki one, since it's free and you can always chill in the park nearby. To get there, take a bus to the Zoo and follow the signs around the Zoo - there should be no issues finding the way. Sincerly recommend the mound to every tourist and citizen as well!
  • Very important place for every Pole, the symbol of Poland's independence
  • Very nice panorama on the city.
  • If you love nature and hiking, you really need to go up there through the surrounding woods, and then take in the views from atop the mound.

Where to stay in Krakow

Krakow ranks among one of Europe's increasingly popular tourist destinations, which is reflected in the rising costs of comfortable lodgings. The best hotels are concentrated in and around the historical old town, where five-star luxury comes at a very steep price. Old town hotels place you just steps from fine shops and restaurants, as well as the city's main museums and galleries. However, if your trip involves a tight budget, avoid the central district and check out mid-range hotels and economical hostels in one of the outlying neighborhoods.
