  • We went to the museum to see the Di Vinci painting temporarily relocated to the main museum building. Great picture. Nice cafe, good coffee. Not sure about the piece of "art" outside though. Rest of m...  more »

  • "The Lady with an ermine holding" Leonardo da Vinci has been moved to here. You can see this picture. I have the time, it did. It was a very beautiful picture. There was even crowded as the Mona Lisa in the Louvre, room make me one moment but (were guards).

  • Quite nice. Permanent exhibition was free. Entrance note said all days 8:00-20:00, free entrance so I don't know which is right (Google maps seems to have a different schedule). What really did the trick for us was the space in front of the building. Really nice with lots of wooden structures for people to sit and relax and with a really cool exhibition made from wood and old Polish objects. The exhibition itself was good but only a few pieces really made it worth.
  • Awesome museum with a lot of beautiful objects and art. The layout of the exhibitions is art in it self. It contains numerous treasures from polish history.
  • Nice but nothing exceptional actually. I entered with a free ticket on sunday so i actually couldn't see the most famous painting, the lady with ermine. A bit disappointing. Go if you have nothing better to do
  • Fabulous place, saw Lady with an Ermine by da Vinci. Well worth a visit!
  • Great museum and quick entrance. The ticket is very cheap around 20 zloty (5€) and the new #heritage exhibition is really worth a visit.

Where to stay in Krakow

Krakow ranks among one of Europe's increasingly popular tourist destinations, which is reflected in the rising costs of comfortable lodgings. The best hotels are concentrated in and around the historical old town, where five-star luxury comes at a very steep price. Old town hotels place you just steps from fine shops and restaurants, as well as the city's main museums and galleries. However, if your trip involves a tight budget, avoid the central district and check out mid-range hotels and economical hostels in one of the outlying neighborhoods.
