  • If you are interested in the history of technology, you would enjoy this museum, and learn about Krakow along the way.  more »
  • We went there with our kids. The museum has two sectors. One that you can interact with and the other with cars and things of municipal engineering. You need less than an hour to see it.  more »
  • I had a very interesting afternoon looking round this place! The layout is a little confusing for the first time visitor, but once you have got your bearings it's not too bad. The museum is split into...  more »

  • Enjoyable little museum. Only takes a few hours to go round. There is a nice section with interactive exhibits for children to play with. When we went there was a temporary exhibit on computer gaming. Was good fun to have a play on different old computer systems. My only criticism was that they refused to accept my international student card saying I was too old. I did feel like complaining but the difference was only 2 złoty on they entry price
  • The temporary interactive exhibit was interesting & engaging, otherwise not the best, especially for younger visitors. The trolleys were rather boring , as visitors just walk around them and cannot even really peer through the windows. Some cool cars & motorcycles on display, much like an auto show. Worthwhile on free day or if lacking anything better to do
  • Entertaining museum with cool temporarily exhibitions. Must visit for all engineering lovers!
  • Awesome museum containing loads of experiments for kids and exhibits showing how transport has evolved.
  • I only wish they had more old cars to see.

Where to stay in Krakow

Krakow ranks among one of Europe's increasingly popular tourist destinations, which is reflected in the rising costs of comfortable lodgings. The best hotels are concentrated in and around the historical old town, where five-star luxury comes at a very steep price. Old town hotels place you just steps from fine shops and restaurants, as well as the city's main museums and galleries. However, if your trip involves a tight budget, avoid the central district and check out mid-range hotels and economical hostels in one of the outlying neighborhoods.
