Lost souls alley, Krakow

4.7
#5 of 41 in Museums in Krakow
Specialty Museum Museum
Brace yourself, because Lost souls alley puts you inside a horror movie. The attraction relies on the element of surprise and fear, so what happens inside must remain a mystery. However, it operates on a set of strict rules, which are listed on the attraction's website. Its location just behind the tourist office in the main square is convenient, but can be hard to spot, so look for the sign carefully. Make an advance reservation by phone to enter; you will not be admitted without a reservation. The site warns that those with heart problems should not enter.  Lost souls alley is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our online itinerary creator, Krakow Edition.

Where to stay in Krakow

Krakow ranks among one of Europe's increasingly popular tourist destinations, which is reflected in the rising costs of comfortable lodgings. The best hotels are concentrated in and around the historical old town, where five-star luxury comes at a very steep price. Old town hotels place you just steps from fine shops and restaurants, as well as the city's main museums and galleries. However, if your trip involves a tight budget, avoid the central district and check out mid-range hotels and economical hostels in one of the outlying neighborhoods.

  • It was truly scarry! The place is undoubtedly a "must see"! The best spent 20 Zloty in Krakow! Our group ran out like little girls at the end :-)  more »
  • I have played Horror escape games before and this one is OK. I was in a team of 5 and only 1 had never played a horror escape before, the lady who had never played before was shaking in the reception....  more »
  • This is a must to if you're visiting Krakow! We all really enjoyed it and it was genuinely terrifying trying to get through the puzzles. It was reasonably priced and only took about 20 minutes to do. ...  more »

  • Great place. I was originally a bit reluctant to go in as I've never been to either a haunted house or Escape rooms before. I was worried about getting claustrophobic or too scared in case some zombies start running after me. All I'm going to say, no to ruin the surprise, is that I had great fun and it was done very tastefully.
  • It was truly scarry! The place is a "must see"! Our group ran out like litte girls at the end :D
  • Very enjoyable experience. The horror atmosphere was really well-done, especially the chainsaw fuel smell. I won't spoil too much, but it is definitely worth a visit for any horror fans in the area.
  • Did this today. I'm still spooked. I am easily frightened, but I don't think that changes anything ! Truly terrifying. An immersive experience, and you can't control your fear. I screamed my hard off, uncontrollably ! Went alone and tagged on with a group of very sweet Polish strangers, and we just clung to each other, genuinely terrified. This isn't your average fairground 'ghost ride', this is just truly immersive and highly recommended. Excellent.
  • What a experience! This is the best/worst scary place I have been. Just fantastic. But beware, it's not for the faint hearted. Btw. Be sure ur in large group. Preferably 4 or 6. You will receive a bad lit flashlight and you will go from room to room and try to figure out the combination to a lock or find a key to a lock. At the end you'll get an opportunity to order pictures that have been taken from the time you were inside.
