  • We visited the MOCAK and the Schindler factory, walking along the Lipowa street we stumbled to a small shop where outlined glass craftsmen. We entered and to our surprise, a friendly Lady we invited that watching the small museum and that if we wanted in Exchange for some slotys see the glass blowing process. The Museum, not very large is full of master pieces made at the factory by different artisans from different periods. Descriptions in English and Polish show the processing of glass, as well as the utensils used in manufacturing. To our surprise after the tour of the Museum, we went to a large room which is part of the factory and where after giving us two etching of glass, two gentlemen produced a glass jug in a jiffy with a Masterful technique. There not just all. We were invited to collaborate and we blow glass cane with catastrophic results, but full of laughter. We went to the store where we bought very nice details at a great price. Does not appear much in the guides but I highly recommend it.

  • The center of the glass and ceramics is located in Kraków, Lipowa Street. It is a place of exhibition, cultural and educational activities of citizens and tourists. There are exhibitions of Polish craftsmen, as well as original, handmade, glassware and pottery: sets, bowls, goblets, figurines, jewelry boxes, jewelry. Enjoyed the collection of modern artistic colored glass, that have been produced here 50 years ago.

  • I am recommending the store as I did not take the tour/visit the exhibit. The art glass is remarkably inexpensive and there is something for everyone's taste.
