Franciscan Church (Kosciol Franciszkanow), Krakow
(4.6/5 based on 550+ reviews on the web)
Home of a replica Shroud of Turin, Franciscan Church (Kosciol Franciszkanow) was one of the first tall buildings in the city. The church touts remarkable stained-glass windows and murals by Stanisław Wyspiański. Because of the colored-glass panes, the interior bursts with bright hues on sunny days, highlighting other spots of inspiration like the tiles and vivid paint colors. The church is rarely crowded. Photos are allowed in certain areas of the building. • Small church but beautiful stained glass, where everything invites to prayer. It is adjacent to the site and an adjoining doned studied San Maximiliano Kolbe, executed at Auschwitz.

  • Back on the right side you will see walking down the street heading to the Wawel Castle from the main square and a little. Back on the left side of the Dominican monastery. Brick-colored Church, there was a large stained glass Windows. Statue stood in front of the Church.

  • A gorgeous Church, different and unique: the interiors are really fascinating art nouveau and stained glass decorations. Not to be missed, in my opinion the third most beautiful of Krakow after the Basilica of Santa Maria and the Wawel Cathedral, the most beautiful tied though for entirely different reasons. Check the opening hours why are reduced (to December 2016 were from 10.00 to 15.00)
