  • The Church of St. Joseph in the Foothill Market was built in 1905-09 by Jan Sas-Zubrzyckiego. who designed on a grand scale Gothic building, with three towers, helmet reminiscent in style to the church tower of St Mary's, and a richly decorated façade. The Church of form elements and architectural details taken from the Gothic cathedrals. Over the entrance are placed the statues: St. Jan kanty, Saint. Kinga. Casimir and St. Salome. Other Saints adorn the corners of the towers, they are: Stanislaus the Bishop, Paul, and Peter. Spacious, bright interior of the Church in the great way imitates the Gothic style. The building has a high nave, two side aisles, six chapels, the chancel with its ambit (bypass), and a transept (transverse nave in relation to the axis of the Temple). For me the most beautiful church (St. Mary's) in Krakow, to the renovated square benches. It is worth to come in the evening and see how awesome it rocks when it is highlighted!

  • It is a 20 min walk from the Centre but is worth the ride only to see the facade, and inside is also beautiful. Highly recommended, should be among the first attractions. There is also a magnificent park before and behind the temple.

  • If you visit the Podgorze district it is obligatory to visit the Church. It has a beautiful ornate exterior that includes an image of Juan Pablo II. The most beautiful neo-Gothic church of Poland is considered. Its tower stands 80 meters above the ground and inside not disappointed him.

  • It is a huge, beautiful and artful church, there are so many sculptures and paintings in it. It is worth to go and see the church. Also, it is free, so you can visit there easily. I am really happy to see that construction.
  • I prefer this one to St Mary's Basilica in the Rynek. It is not on the typical tourist route - so you get people who want to be here and it is a very good place to be...
  • Underrated, beautiful church atop a hill at the end of a long square
  • Very nice looking outside, especially at night. It seems to me it represents a bit different architecture than most of Krakow's churches.
  • Beautiful church situated on the shore of Vistula River....
