  • It's a surprising museum. The pharmacy sits in front of the Ghetto Heroes Square and the pharmacist's actions during this dark time reminds us what it means to be brave. It's a small museum but there ...  more »

  • The pharmacy is a small museum, it can be a little tight. Well liked me, that you had several ways to find out there (read, listen to, watch the video, see exhibits from the period). Through the many photos of the inhabitants of the ghetto, the terrible story on personal level or is one. A little pity, I find that one learns little about the pharmacy itself and the pharmacist Tadeusz Pankiewicz, you would have to expand that. If you look at the Memorial in the square with the chairs, this museum certainly is worth a visit, the entry is not expensive.

  • Lovely little museum about Tadeusz Pankiewicz and his life helping Jews in the Ghetto. Very interactive as most of the cupboards and draws open to reveal pictures, documents etc. Would recommend if you're in the area.
  • Original place of the pharmacy of Mr. Tadeusz Pankiewicz - a man played an important role in the times WWII/Holocaust.
  • Apteka Pod Orłem w Krakowie Part of the history of the Second World War Christian pharmacist who refused to remove his pharmacy outside the walls of the Jewish ghetto and stayed there and saved a lot of Jews to death by the Nazis
  • Ten slotys to get in is cheap
  • Good to see from the historical perspective.
