How is the Lantern, a lot of standing in line, long at the top and a great view. With friends is a cool thing. Under the Lantern cannot be nothing to buy in one of the many stalls (wrrrr ...)

I came, and I wanted to impose on them the cash baby Lady, what came before the mnou...no a mess!! The ticket costs 6 PLZ. But after we have a beautiful view of the sea. The cashier through the desert people like mad, so it is tight. 7 people at the top, and is a light squeeze. The Lighthouse is a piece of history, but a little crowded, can be rented for 2 zł binoculars-I recommend. To the lighthouse you can arrive in 5 PLZ Melexem (electric golf trolley known from) the local's cab. The lighthouse was built during the war in 1942 by order of the Poles in Nazi Germany. It is a brick object of dark red bricks. The tower is octagonal, topped with a gallery, its height is 41.5 metres. The source of light is a bulb about 1000 watts of power, which in the case of the Burnout occurs automatically rotates 180 degrees, and in its place is set on a red bulb. Both of the bulbs can be seen at the top of the lighthouse. The viewing platform, lanterns after 197 steps into the spiral. The stairs are narrow and steep. But it really is worth it to go because of the mountains on a clear day you can see a large piece of the Hel Peninsula, including the cities in and around the Gulf and in Gdansk, Sopot, Gdynia and Puck. ...

Nice view! It would somehow organize the output in groups-all are locked out and pushes the prospect.

  • The lighthouse is of an average height, yet you can't see much from the top. The view is mostly trees and plain sea - pretty boring. Also, in the summer there are so many tourists at the top that it's so crowdy it's hard to move your hands, so taking pictures or simply enjoying the views is made even harder, almost impossible. Still, this is where I started my 'adventure' with lighthouse touring - I bought the Gdansk Marine Museum's Lighthouse Enthusiast Passport (10 zl). A pleasant hobby to do. To sum up: the walk to the lighthouse and waiting outside to buy the tickets was more enjoyable than the climb itself.
