  • The majestic Cathedral of equal dignity of Poznan, where he was crowned the first Polish kings. There is a interesting Archdiocesan Museum filled with valuable exhibits of sacred art. That the hill there is a beautiful view.

  • Gniezno Cathedral was destroyed in the 1945-at the end of World War 2. After many years of restoration is wonderful and a very attractive tourist object and a monument of culture and art. Beyond the 1000-year-old famous Door Gnieźnieńskimi is there a lot of masterpieces of art and memorabilia the history of Polish. Next to the temple is the Museum of sacred art. It is worth to enter the cathedral tower to admire the beautiful views of the surrounding area.

  • Why unused? Well, the Cathedral visit tourists, whole groups, virtually every day, from morning to evening. I had the opportunity to visit the Cathedral on Sundays. A lot of people, so the visibility limited. GNIEZNO DOORS, are "so", obmacywane and scraped by the tourists-and yet, it is a monument! Poor access to the altar and to the relics, poorly described chapels of which nothing is clear. Point the tourists closed on Sundays (although Sunday is the time when traffic in the temples is increased) which was a shock for me. The descent to the underworld in which the vault was closed.
